2. AntiVirus: Well no one beats Avira AntiVir nowadays in detection. It was the most awarded AV int he net last year. 5. Email Client: Yes I still use this and its not dead... Thunderbird.
6. Anti-Malware: Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is the best I found in team up with Spybot.
7. Audio Editor : I use Audiograbber
8. Photo Editor: Well Gimp and Paint.net are good options but I have a licensed copy of Paintshop Pro.
9. Compression: Nothing beats 7-zip right now.
10. IM: Trillian still for me.
